Whether you're a parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle etc.., a semester of Family music classes is always a wonderful investment in both the child and the family in music development, and...it's fun!
From Jan.15-Mar.18, Music Together Mid Island classes will be taught on Weds. at 9:30-10:15 am at the HUB @ Cowichan Station.
Classes are based around the Sticks collection. 10 weeks of a research-based music and movement program for families with children from Newborn - 5 years!
Tuition includes 10 weeks of classes as well as the cost of the Family materials which includes downloaded music, CD, Storybook, App, and the Family Music Zone.
Concerned about being able to make all 10 classes?
We've got you covered. There are 2 courtesy make-up classes/semester for those weeks of sudden illness, work conflict, holiday etc..
Curious to try out a class first?
Dec. 4 & 11th have limited spaces available to come and visit a class! These classes will be Holiday-themed. If interested, please email to reserve your spot in order to keep the class size manageable for all the children in this Mixed-age setting.

The Semester is 10 weeks long, and your tuition includes the family materials, music downloads and an app to help you and your child learn all the new songs right away!

For those eager to plan their summer activities for their babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, registration is now open @ the Frank Jameson Centre in Ladysmith for the Music Together Mid Island Classes with the Summer Banjo Collection!
Classes will be on Tuesday mornings (July 9 - Aug.13 )from 9:00-9:45 am for a short summer session of 6 weeks. Tuition includes the Family materials/curriculum, songbook, CD and/or Music download, as well as access to the Music Together Hello Everybody App, as one more way for the whole family to easily learn the music in the Banjo collection!
If that weren't enough, enrolled Music Together Mid Island families also have access to the Family Music Zone, which shares age-appropriate musical activities for Mom/Dad/Grandma/Grandpa/Aunts/Uncles to play along with their children/grandchildren/niece/nephews aged newborn - 5 year-old!
The first Fri. class of the Spring semester was held at the Old Maple Bay Firehall on Fri., April 5th.
We still have room for a few more children (Newborn-5 yrs.) to join us this Spring, along with the grown-ups who love them!
If Friday mornings (10:30-11:15 class) don't work for your schedule, come on out to our Wednesday morning classes (9:30-10:15) at our NEW location - The HUB at Cowichan Station, which starts in less than a week on Wed., Apr.17!

Enjoy some time out with your child, and help create a musical community with Moms/Grandmas/Nannies/Aunties while being music makers for the children.
While having fun as a music maker, you will also learn how to help your child/grandchild/child in your care, achieve Basic Music Competence through you.
